The Lions' Calvin Johnson Goes Deep at Batting Practice

Calvin Johnson is a freak on the football field, a near-perfect blend of size, speed, leaping ability, hand-eye-coordination and strength. However, just because he's dominant in one sport doesn't mean that he is at EVERY sport. It's not a stretch to say though that, if he wanted to, Megatron looks like he could play pro baseball. 

Taking batting practice at Comerica (which has pretty deep dimensions) with a smile on his face, Johnson showed off a nice, easy swing taking his second pitch deep to the center wall. He wasn't done though, he scalded the next pitch with a no-doubter to the left field bullpens. Pretty impressive. 


That ball JUMPS off his bat, the Tigers should sign him immediately and turn him into a two-sport star. Lions and Tigers and Megatron, oh my!
