When it comes to indoor cycling, Germany's tandem of Miriam Welte and Kristina Vogel are the top dogs. Having won the gold in London (thanks to a DQ by the Chinese team) as well as setting world record's at the UCI Track Cycling Championships. In addition, Welte herself set an individual record in June.
A first-time Olympian, Welte, 25, is poised to be a major force in indoor cycling for years to come.
