When your Olympics are over, there's little else to do but party your balls off; no one does this better than the Aussies. Unfortunately for Australian rower Joshua Booth—whose team finished in sixth in the men's eights competition—the British constabulary didn't appreciate his form of of blowing off steam.
Arrested in the early hours of Thursday, Booth apparently damaged a store front in Egham before being taken to the police station. There he passed out and was taken to the hospital.
After being released from the hospital, Booth was allowed to return to the Olympic village but has to return to speak with the police on Friday. Reportedly officers discovered Booth in front of a store with two smashed windows.
Unsurprisingly, "alcohol [was] involved."
