It's no surprise that Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano doesn't have a lot in the way of job security, he told the refs in last week's game that he was going to get fired. And then there is that whole thing with his owner actively wooing Jim Harbaugh in the offseason only to rebuffed, and return to Sparano. Oh, and his team is winless, has probably the worst quarterback in football and have a strong likelihood, despite a good defense, of going 0-16 this year.
So, you can't blame him for trying to take advantage of a weak real estate market, particularly in Miami, and has put his house up for sale in anticipation of his eventual dismissal.
The home, in "pristine condition" features 5-bedrooms, a theater, gourmet indoor kitchen, outdoor kitchen, marble floors and the requisite Florida pool. Sparano purchased it in 2008 for $1.7M when he still had his daughters living there too but now that he and his wife are "empty-nesters" he decided it was time to put it up for sale.
Only asking $1.5M for the Mediterranean style manse which is in a gated community, so really, you're scoring a great deal. Plus, think of being able to rest your head where Tony did!
