Tim McCarver is Endlessly Dumb

Every year there are hundreds of blogs/tweets/posts/conversations amongst baseball fans where the work of Fox commentator Tim McCarver is maligned. And with good reason. He's fucking TERRIBLE. While I'm endlessly impressed that as a player McCarver premiered in the major leagues at age 17(!) and played in games in 4 different decades (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) but his time has come and gone. Just as ESPN knew that they needed to oust Joe Morgan from its booth, it's high time Fox gave the boot to Timmy.

Maybe they can say that he's becoming senile? At the least he doesn't know how to count, since he thinks the word "strike" is spelled with only 5 letters.
