ManCity Striker Sets off Fireworks in His Bathroom
On Sunday Manchester City took on Manchester United in a battle for the heart of the industrial city with ManCity taking home a shocking 6-1 victory over their better financed rivals. In a seemingly misguided attempt to celebrate, ManCity striker Mario Balotelli saw the fire department come to his home after setting off fireworks in his bathroom. It turns out that is a BAD idea. Who knew!
(I will say, that in college I once had a firework fight in our kitchen where my roommates and I shot them at one another, but most of them went straight out the back door into the lawn... and besides, WE didn't set anything on fire.)
Two fire engines arrived to the scene and brought their hoses to bear on the small inferno a little after midnight Sunday evening. No one was hurt, although my impression of Balotelli's intelligence has dropped...
