Pujols Looks Statuesque

Regardless of whether or not Albert Pujols resigns with the St. Louis Cardinals, he'll still be a regular presence in the city all year-round. Thanks to an anonymous donor a 10-foot high, 1,100 pound statue of the Cardinals slugger was unveiled outside the Albert Pujols 5 restaurant that he owns in West Port Plaza.



The statue officially belongs to the Pujols Family Foundation and features The Machine pointing to the sky, presumably after launching another majestic home run.

Cardinals fans hope though that they'll get to see the living, breathing Pujols around town next year and not be stuck with just the inanimate version.

We'll see, Pujols filed for free agency following his World Series win.
