Naked Sled Championships Titillate and Delight (NSFW)
In Braunlage, Germany, 13 brave men and 13 brave women headed to a 90 meter long icy snowy trail in front of a crowd of over 17,000 fans. The event, the infamous Naked Sledging World Championships.
Wearing only underwear and helmets, the winners (a trio of local hotel workers) took home (a shared prize of) $1600 and the prestigious title of "Naked Sledging World Champion," not bad considering all they had to do was lay (almost) naked on a sled hurtling downhill and survive.
While over 400 people applied to participate, the organizers selected only 30. Race organiser Tobias Wannemaker said: "This year attracted more people than ever. The naked sledgers definitely got things hotting up, even in such cold conditions."
