British Ladies Horsing Around
In England, Ladies' Day at the Aintree racecourse is among THE fashion events of the year. With loads of soccer WAGs in attendance (with some of their hubbys and boyfriends in tow) as well as most of the Liverpool football club, the day was filled with elegant dresses, inane hats (a la the Kentucky Derby), and of course, sloppy drunkenness. Let's go to the board and see what we got.
The good news is that even if their fashion choices were bad, or their high heels too tall (or impractical for grass), all the women were given a free pair of flip-flops, so, they're all winners.
All told, for the weekend over 150,000 visitors came to the horse track.
