With the start of the NFL season comes an enjoyable past time, seeing the horrific injuries the players are subjected to; in the first weekend we have two doozies and I can't decide which is worse. Perhaps you can help decide in the comments below.
First we have Houston Texans defensive end Connor Barwin who had a BRUTAL dislocated ankle injury that will knock him out for the rest of the season.
He's not bending his leg there, that's him holding his leg STRAIGHT and his foot going the way way wrong direction. YIKES! OW!
Then there is Philadelphia Eagles fullback Leonard Weaver who took a hand-off and when he was brought down found his knee bending in a way that no one EVER wants to have happen. The hit was so gruesome looking that when it was shown on the big-screen at Lincoln Financial Field the hometown Eagles fans groaned as one.
