Who is That On Heyward's Bobblehead?
Move over sliced bread, Jason Heyward is the greatest thing since protozoans crawled out of the ocean and began the long process of evolution. The rookie extraordinaire finished his first month in the majors with a pedestrian 154 OPS+, 7 HRs, 23 RBI and a .272/.388/.580 slash line.
Sure, he has 26 strikeouts already, but he also has 14 walks and when, as a 20-year-old rookie you're projecting towards 47 homers for the season, that's not such a big deal.
Looking to capitalize on the popularity of Heyward, the Braves' AAA affiliate in Gwinnett on Saturday held a Heyward bobblehead night. The first 4,000 fans in attendance each received the giveaway, plus they got to see the Pawtucket Red Sox take on the Braves in an actual baseball contest.
The only issue, who the hell is on this bobblehead?
