Miss Massachusetts Has an NHL Connection
On Sunday the entire nation stopped and tuned in to watch a seminal television event, the 2010 Miss USA pageant. What, you thought I meant The Cleveland Show? While it was Miss Michigan who pulled out the final victory -- if any state needed a win more than Michigan I don't know who it is -- my home state, Massachusetts sent out a contender, which unfortunately is not always the case.
This year's entrant, Lacey Wilson, 26, finished outside the top-fifteen but is a winner in my book. Not only is she very attractive, she comes from a sports family, specifically, her father Doug is the GM of the San Jose Sharks hockey team. Who knew GMs had such good genes!
With the Sharks vying for the Stanley Cup I think Doug's best move at this point is to bring his daughter to all the games, station her by the Blackhawks' bench and start distracting the players. And then have her call me. I'm single!
