For those of you who can't handle the action-packed heart-stopping action of golf on television, ESPN and the USGA have come up with the perfect solution. Last week the two alphabet organizations joined forces and ESPN will become the exclusive radio content provider of the US Open for the next two years. Finally!
Just picture it now, the whole family sitting around the ol' transistor as the announcer breathlessly describes Phil Mickelson making his way down the 14th fairway, man-boobs flapping, and then hits a 5 iron into the woods. It might be too much for my fragile emotions to handle.
