If, for some ungodly reason, you AREN'T following the American Hockey League rabidly you might have missed seeing Abbotsford Heat coach Jim Playfair's meltdown when he felt the refs didn't live up to his name.
First he starts screaming at the refs from the bench, then he gets up on it, snatches one of his players' sticks and starts smashing it to pieces but he wasn't done yet. Playfair rips off his suit jacket, hops BACK onto the bench and starts destroying another stick, much to the delight of the crowd and his players. The best part to me is how he keeps nearly falling over onto the players, which would have added much to the hilarity of the moment. Next time Jim, next time.
The Heat lost the game 4-0 to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
