Cooperstown Comes Calling For Galarraga

With Armanda Galarraga set to take the mound Tuesday for the first time since his Imperfect Perfect Game, it was only a matter of time until those rabid collectors at the Hall of Fame came sniffing around for some mementos.

Among the items the Hall collected about the game are Galarraga's spikes, the ball from the final out and the first-base bag where umpire Jim Joyce's call was so infamously missed.

Considering that Galarraga's career isn't likely to otherwise take him to Cooperstown, it's pretty awesome that he'll become a part of the museum's collection.
