Marlin Jackson's Dark Chocolate Nuts Heal All Wounds

Written by slanch on .

marlin_jacksonIndianapolis Colts defensive back Marlin Jackson has had a number of injuries on the football field and because of that doesn't buy Mark McGwire's explanation that the steroids he took were for healing purposes only.

"It’s really more about eating right,” Jackson told WNDE afternoon host Mark Patrick. "There are foods, those that are high in protein that can help you heal and recover, and there are foods that are natural anti-inflammatories. You don’t need anything else."

Working with a nutrionist, Jackson has found that among the most helpful foods are dark chocolate covered almonds and beef jerky. The nuts have protein, the chocolate antioxidants and the jerky is one of the highest sources of protein around.

If you taste Marlin's nuts you're SURE to get on the road to wellville right away. So everyone, dig in!
