To honor the games and the people participating in them, The Slanch Report will be bringing you TWICE DAILY the Hot Olympian of the Day. We will bring you every day two otherwise likely unknown-to-you Olympians who, while maybe not quite worthy of a place on the medal stand, certainly are worth being placed on a pedestal for us to enjoy. Celebrate them all on the Hot Olympians page.
The medial winners of the women's boardercross event must have set a record for the best-looking podium of all time. First there was gold medal winner Maëlle Ricker, and with the silver medal is French beauty Deborah Anthonioz. The 31-year-old former ski and snowboard alpine racer made the switch exclusively to boardercross in 2000. In 2006, she made her debut at the Olympics, along with boardercross, finishing a disappointing 10th, but she raced the whole time with her arm in a cast after a crash.
This traveling buddy of fellow French boardercrosser (and Hot Olympian of the Day) Oceane Pozzo is SCORCHING hot off the snow, and based on her success Wednesday, blazing hot ON the snow too.
