To honor the games and the people participating in them, The Slanch Report will be bringing you TWICE DAILY the Hot Olympian of the Day. We will bring you every day two otherwise likely unknown-to-you Olympians who, while maybe not quite worthy of a place on the medal stand, certainly are worth being placed on a pedestal for us to enjoy. Lauren Cholewinski, 21, originally was an in-line skater who switched to speed skating on ice in 2007, three years later and she's in the Olympics competing in the 500m sprint. Unfortunately, Cholewinski's results were a bit disappointing, she finished 29th in the first race and 30th in the second, but that's out of 36 racers, and she beat out fellow Hot Olympian Annette Gerritsen, so there's that!

Plus, Cholewinski, who does some modeling in her spare time, has probably the prettiest eyes of the Olympians we've featured yet. Look at them staring at you, how can you resist their siren draw? Answer: you can't. She's hot! Originally from South Carolina, she just might also have a nice little southern lilt to her voice, which can be uber-sexy. And she keeps making kiss-y faces in her photos, which makes me think she likes me.
